If you wish to visit Texas, there are excellent wonders of nature to see here apart from the most beautiful women in the world.

Conversely, however, there is a three-part trick to doing so…

First, slow down and detach mentally from your busy daily lives.

Second, make an extra effort to hunt for what you are hoping to see because the natural wonders aren’t spoon-fed like sugar as opposed to someplace such as Yellowstone.

Third as an extension of the first two; is to be willing to drive vast distances and go to great lengths if you want to see the best stuff. The ‘Wild Tour’ taken at the Sonora Caverns is a good destination example.

I was told by an acquaintance who is not exactly a fan of the State, that the worst place geographically to be in Texas is the center. Because pick any direction from the center and it takes an average of 12 hours to drive out of the State and cross into another or sink into the Gulf of Mexico.

Regarding the drive, I get him. I disagree because there is an urban gem that awaits you at the center. That said geographic location pretty much happens to be where the state capitol of Austin is located. It’s a great Texas destination. You don’t have to look very hard to find cool stuff to see and do there. My personal recommendation is a night out on 6th Street to immerse yourself into the independent Texas Music scene.

The city’s slogan is “Keep Austin Weird”.

I agree.
